Main House Addition and Accessory Dwelling Unit Grant Hill, San Diego, CA -- Full design, technical and permitting services for a master suite addition with roof deck on an existing main house and a new, separate accessory dwelling unit (ADU) and garage building. The project is in a City of San Diego Historic District and was required to meet both local historic design criteria and the US Secretary of the Interior’s standards. Anticipated completion 2018.
Mid-Century Modern Historic Renovation Mission Hills, San Diego, CA -- Full design, technical and permitting services for the exterior restoration and interior modernization of a potentially historic 1950’s custom mid-century home and guest house in Mission Hills. Paramount to the project was working with both the City of San Diego Historic Resources staff and the contractor to ensure adherence with the US Secretary of the Interior’s standards. Anticipated completion 2018.
